Byron Payne returns with the Next Generation GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge team for 2010 to take on the Homestead 200 at the the Miami Grand Prix this weekend, March 5-6.
Payne will once again compete in the ST-class with the Next Generation Motorsports team, driving the #34 BMW 330 with teammate Squeak Kennedy. We have seen Payne in the Next Generation BMW’s in selected races throughout 2008 and 2009, making this Byron’s 4th appearance with NGM.
Byron welcomes back sponsors United Financial and eprodius as his sponsors for the Homestead 200. “GRAND-AM remains the place to be in sports car racing. whether in the GRAND-AM Rolex series or the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge and I am thrilled to be able to represent my sponsors in the series again for 2010.” comments Payne.
