Byron Payne returns with the Next Generation Grand-Am Koni Challenge Championship Series team to take on the Salt Lake City 200 at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah next weekend.

Payne will compete in the ST-class with the Next Generation Motorsports team, driving the #129 BMW 330 with teammate still to be announced. This will be a Payne’s 3rd race with the Next Generation team, bringing home a 13th place finish in 2008 at Watkins Glen, followed up with a 9th place finish at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca back in May.

Byron welcomes new sponsors Force Fuel For Earth, United Financial, RedLineTechnik.com, and eprodius.com to the Koni Challenge Series. “We are excited to bring some new partners on board for the Miller weekend. We plan to represent them well and expose them to what a strong and exciting marketing platform and business partnership Grand-Am racing can be.” commented Payne.

The green flag for the Salt Lake City 200 drops Friday, September 18th at 6:00pm (MST), at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah.
